You right. 750R will satisfy me more. I however will go on the track once in a while.

700hp should suit you just fine at the track every once in a while and the car will be much more of a daily driver w/ less lag!

probably just a prayer on deaf ears, but is there any way to have a cast manifold made for stock turbos? is that in the works? I'd love a tubular to help the power, but scared of the heat issues.

There is no reason to be. Have them ceramic coated and you'll be fine. You could coat them and then use heat wrap if you're that worried. No way I would go with a cast manifold design. You might as well just have your stock manifold ported.
Looks like I will be going with CBRD.

Now I have thinking to do...keep my fp black and get a tubular mani or sell everything and get this kit...geez you guys are gonna bankrupt me, lol...still need to pay for my engine build too.

This kit is the sex, I have rode in Gate's car with this kit and the production kit is even more polished, so it should be a winner.

I would have to say I am very excited about this kit! It has been a long time in the waiting and it looks like the wait was worth the best set-up. Saving my dollars now to install in the spring. No need for me to have that much power with the snow on the way, but look out spring.....Way to go AMS. you never cease to amaze me.

Would this kit be available with a T3 (VBand) Precision Turbo 6765? It looks like a 6262 in the pictures of the kit... I'd really like some clarification. Thanks guys.

Lou

Yes it would be. We retained the 750, 900X and 950 terminology as we have been using them on the EVO 8/9 kits

750R - 58/57 with your choice of housing .64 or .82
900x - 62/65 with a .82 housing
950R - 67/65 with a .82 housing

Thanks for the fast response and great detail of the actual turbos. Great work as always, keep it up!

Seriously? Have you even seen the CAD drawings of this manifold in the previous thread? This thing is basically a tubular header in a cast, it's ridiculous. You're implying that just because this manifold is cast and the stock one is cast, that they are basically the same. Wrong.

PS. Not knocking handmade tubular headers at all.
