at the last lancer meet i noticed quite a few people had swapped the front chrome accents into black plastic one. where did you guys get this done? thx in advance!

 

Chrome should not be on Lancers.. too bad they didnt learn from the 2002-2003 model.

 

I think alot of them either vinyled it or purchased the DE grill that comes in black

 

only two of the 08 lancers at the gta meet had the black upper grille.
mine and the blue gts.
the blue gts used flat black vinyl (did it all himself)
and my lancer is the de model…so it came with it (and no, i don’t want to trade. lol)

basically you have three options;
1. go to the dealer and purchase the DE upper grille frame.
2. get some flat-black vinyl, take out the grille, and go nuts.
3. get some flat-black paint, take out the grille, sand it down, and go nuts…

 

its like $120-$180 or something for the black grill from the dealer, just spend the $10 and vinyl it!
