Speeding ticket...
Been a while since I used a traffic agent to fight a ticket. So whose the best agent these days? Scored a speeding ticket today (82 in 50 zone) in the T.O region. I am definitely gonna fight it. Whats the average time frame to get a court date? I am hoping at least 10 months before court date to avoid appearing during insurance renewal.

Hmm..thanks... 10 months should work out in my favor i think.
So far, i came across trafficticketsolutions.ca , www.trafficpoints.ca and www.ottlegal.com. Never heard any of those before :S

I tried traffic points but my case was in cobourg so that may have been the problem, court was 6 monts after the ticket. $340 for the agent and they were only able to get the fine dropped by like 8kms and still got 3 points. ANother buddy of mine had a similar case here in TO and used them and his was tossed so he walked away happy.

It was a 60 zone when i checked mins before I got pulled up. Not sure when it got reduced to 50. Still to have go back and check if it was really a 50 Zone. Kinda weird for Yonge st to have a 50 zone considering it was a commercial area I was passing by and NO school.

I know the ticket bothers you very much, and it woud bother me too.......But I would just pay the ticket and put it behind you. (And plus, going 80 in a 50 zone is a pretty big speed margin). Just forget it and do what you need to so you can get over it quickly.
