When are you guys having a meet, a few friends of mine are in Chem. Eng. at McGill, I've been thinking about taking the train to Montreal during the play-offs, seeing them and catching a game. If your meet falls on a weekend I'd like to stop by.

70's lancer in montreal
hey guys from montreal, we heard from a very reliable source in the recent mitsubishi meet at cooksville that they spotted a 70's lancer in dundas just last nov-dec 2003 w quebec plates. colored blue and its still very much intact.
very trivial to see it. i wonder who owns it? he did his homework on maintenance, that's for sure.
that's one true blue mitsubishi dude!

check your mitsu history
i don't mean to offend you...don't get me wrong.
the lancer was a concept from the 60's and was marketed worldwide since the 70's.
it was one of the very first japanese production cars to win a north american rallye race..... 1976 rallye of quebec!
again, correct me if i'm wrong.
happy cruising to you my friend!!!!

ok i'm not sure that lancer was created in the 70's, but then again they used the galant and lancers in the rally in the 70's so that part i'm wrong, but the lancer wasn't made in the 60's, cuz Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) was created only in 1970.
Mitsubishi was originally a shipping company in founded in 1870. company diversified into other domains, and made its first car (and Japan's first car) in 1917. after the 2nd world war, the allied forces broke up the company into Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and 139 other small companies in 1946. Then finally Mitsubishi Heavy Industries created Mitsubishi Motor Corp. (MMC) in 1970.
