you need to get a better tire combo/suspension setup or something if you are honestly chirping your tires from 2-3....i spin all through 1st and part of 2nd and run mid 11s at 123 mph and still don't chirp into 3rd....lol

Ditto on the 1st gear spin!! Once you start putting down good power, a good tire/suspention combo is definitely needed. I have an in car video of the camera facing the passenger side rear and you can see the *** end of the evo getting sideways from the launch, lol . If you are interested I can post it up. My 1st gear pretty much spins out. Next time I am going to try and lower my tire pressure see if it helps.

Good luck with the lower ETs. Its just a matter of getting more runs under your belt and you'll start gettting the hang of it.

Evo reflashing

I would be intrested in seeing your timing and fuel mapping. Maybe we can compare notes. I just did a reflash and I am constantly adjusting the maps. I live in Orlando, so if this is cool, just e-mail me. Do you data log? I have an almost stock evo. Profec-b, no cat, K&N drop in, forge motorsports BOV, 110 fuel, 22lbs, I ran a 12.20 @ 106mph. Max timing was 15deg. My 60's are 1.6 and 1.7 consistantly. I would like to get into the 11's with the stock exhaust and airbox. I am doing some port work on an extra 16g and I just purchased a head that I will be porting, larger valves, 272 cams. So, let me know if we can compare data logging. I am always willing to help out my fellow Evo owners!

i ran a 12.3 at 108 in 40 degree weather with all season tires... 1.6 60 foot, car hooked up perfectly. I think it's the tires and possibly the track, but lower your tire pressure that should help out a lot.

The alignment will make a world of a difference.
