i have a rev limiter...which i like BTW, around 4000 gives me good 60' times

depends on how much HP and TQ you have. I launch 4500-5000 any higher I spin all four.

im driving a basically stock 05' MR
i tried to launch @ 5500 today and the car stuttered,
i mean it jumped and stopped.
ive launched @ 3500 and ripped the road apart, but 5500 made the car hop 3-4 feet.
i still beat the 5.0 mustang, but i was pissed when i f*ing stuttered off the line....
5500 in my mind should tear *** down the road, damnit im pissed.....

try this!
bring it up to 3.000rpm and hold it there ,when the green light comes , press the gas pedal all the way in for like 1sec(where rpm reach 5-6.000rpm) , then let the clutch out fast! (fast slip)

perfect launch everytime i do this way! and i dont smell burn at all...maybe i got act clutch.
dont forget to let it cool between launch! keep practice,,,this is only way to learn.

hey cluch smell is good (small amount), I mean better have something slip then all the power to strait to your drivetrain. Just a word of wisdom...

Remember that you have the 5k launch limiter in neutral.

I launch at 3k-3.5k, I don't feel like launching too hard untill I have money for another clutch. You gotta pay to play

Might want to check the how-to on disabling your rev limiter. (5500 cut off in N)
