i didn't think elevation would effect a supercharged/turboed car that much...

Yea man, no offense but those times are very slow... Your 60' should be some where in the 1.7xxx at least for it to be a "good" run.. that will also affect your overall time SUBSTANTIALLY... with the right driver your car seems to be a low-mid 13 second car easily

For a 2.1....you must have bogged the launches and burned the clutch...

I'm not bogging or burning the clutch. Also take note of the difference in altitude. There are Evo's w/ MBC, Intake, Exhaust, Cat remonved just bearly breaking the 13's.

That's a nice kill to show that mustang... but your time is really slow. Good luck next time.

This may be true, but you would have been in the 13s with this posted run had you gotten a decent launch. I fail to see how you can spin so much on the sticky Advans when you have no mods (intake is nothing...probably lessens your power if anything). Add to this the fact that your hp is significantly reduced by the elevation, and you shouldn't spin at all. I haven't spun my tires once, despite much better 60's and ET/MPH. Yeah, I'm on the stock clutch, but the clutch isn't slipping, otherwise I wouldn't get 1.7s.

I'm not on Advan's I have POS Goodyears. Also why is everyone hatin' so much. Ever freakin' post I make someone has a negative comment about it. Honestly I'm starting to think that most ppl that post here don't know what they are talking about.

Well, man, you need to mention stuff like that (POS Goodyears), because that is a major factor. You shouldn't put POS tires on an Evo...what's the point?

Was that against the new 05 GT or the gold generation GT?

Those are respectable numbers IMO - You're probably down on power quite a bit to trap 75 mph on the 1/8 and 94 mph in the 1/4. That's about 8-10 mph slower in the 1/4 from stock Evo. Elevation robs power for turbo or non-turbo cars.

yeah what he said. since everyone is bashing you, i thought i would say that your R/T is fabulous! also it appears that ppl don't realize the air is thinner up there which is affecting your A/F ratio & the time. it's 109 here in PHX right now & ppl are running over 1/2-1 full sec slower at the track with 1280ft elevation.
