It is generally agreed upon that that was a timing error, something that happens at Great Lakes Dragaway quite often. The 60' showed to be a .908 which is just not physicly possible for a unibody car. His fastest verified backed up pass was a 9.13, still fast as hell none the less.

I'd bet money that we will be seeing ALOT of 8 and 9 sec passes out of Evo's this year. Good job to the guys with the APC Evo!

It runs a gt45 garrett, motec, and made on a dyno dynamics dyno 820hp at all 4 wheels on 33 psi boost.

The "Silver AMS evo" runs a 9.41 and has 808whp. But this guy is saying that his buddy has 820whp and runs an 8.7. Here is another pruven point about "Dynojets" having "Hyped *** #'s" and can never read accurately.

E.T. has little to do with wheel hp numbers. You need to do calculations based on mph and weight (not to mention many other factors like aerodynamics, how good of a pass it was, if it was ran at the same boost level as dyno'd, etc...), then make your assumptions about how inaccurate a Dynojet is. I see alot more inconsistancy with load bearing dyno's than I do with inertia dyno's anyway, but this has all been covered thousands of times before and I'll not get into it again.

The Dynojets read around 15-18% more than the Dyno Dynamics, so the APC Evo would put down around 950whp on a Dynojet...

I think Pruven had both Dynojet and DD and came up with that %

But who cares what the dyno reads, its only a tuning tool.

Trap Speeds tell it all, 170mph is amazing. RWD drag cars usually go high sevens with 170mph traps.

What material did you use to heat wrap on the hot portion of turbo (seen in the image)?
