I bet you a million dollars if I would drive the car, For damn sure the car will hit 11.8. Thats a promise but you live to far. I ran 12.2 no cams and 112 on pump gas with a 1.73 60ft now its 11.51 at 118mph. Then I drove the same setup as that of the 12.15 and ran 11.88 at 116.32, the first to second is what didn't allow you to enter 11 but the car looks good.

nah, I still have it. Hopefully it will be coming off the car in a few weeks depending on Buschurs ship date for a new turbo.

darthfoul- Yup all it will take is a few more runs. The ACT is kinda tricky to be consistant with, it seems that every time I get up to the line the spot where the clutch usually grabs moves around, or it's just me on not modulating the clutch pedal correctly every time.


EVOB23- not really sure on what you mean by 1st to 2nd shift. What else is there I can do? I think I shift fast enough, any other pointers?

1) 12.15 is not "so close." It's not close at all if you understand drag racing. Just pointing that out.

2) You're already making the power to hit 11s, and you said nothing about needing practice in the first post before I responded.

If you cannot handle either of these truths, then I suggest not posting. Just trying to help, but it helps if you aren't so sensitive and thin-skinned.

Mack, I also said nothing about how many mods I had and how many mods he has. I went from 12.01 to 12.000. 12.01 is "so close," but even with an improvement in power, I still didn't hit 11s. Comparatively, 12.15 is eons away from 11s...
Unlike you, Mike, (not Mack) has the MPH and power to get to 11's. It is a fast shift away from the 11's so buzz off and go visit the postwhoring thread where you can post up how you have been stuck in the 12's for a year and then reply to yourself trolling about how with another $1500 in free sponsored parts, you still cant break 11's. No one takes you seriously here so go find a newbie to molest with your 12 seconds of terror ...

Aha... Melvin, didn't think you were on evolutiom...

Melvin is a lightweight (130lbs +/-) good driver with a tilton hybrid twin, 280's and TTP-Engineering's camgear settings.

The car has little done to it but exhaust, intake and 110oct.

The ACT is a different animal though and I feel Mike's pain. ****, I don't even attempt to NLTS it anymore.

It will run an 11 surely in short order. Whenever I get stuck in a rut where i know the car can go quicker but I get consistant junk I try to switch something up on the launch or shifts, or even let someone else run it.

My friend was going back to back running consistant 11.3-11.4s on one of our cars. I ran it the first time hitting an 11.1 then 11.0 then 10.9. He got back in it after those runs and instantly hit an 11.1. The faster cars go, the more a tiny little difference ends up being the difference of, in your case, an 11.9x to a 12.1x. Youll hit it soon enough.

Yup, Isn't Scott great? Thats one of the reasons I only buy from 2 vendors, and TTP is one of them.

hehehe, i like this thread. I wish every1 would just put him on their ignore list. It could be like that one south park episode where they all ignore cartman and he thinks that he is a ghost

Thanks fot the motivation. I was playing around last night and the roads were a bit wet so I decided to try out launch control (I have an 03). So I flipped it on and the car lauches harder on wet pavement than I could on dry pavement. I also found out that the UTEC lauch control IS NOT NLTS.


I can make a promise to everyone I will NOT be in the 12's for a year. Next week friday Im heading back down to the track to try again. Now that I have a drag racing map complete I feel I have no reason why I should not be in the 11's.
