KOEvo Baseline results
Stock times and stock dyno graph to match. I'm just getting some baseline #'s before i mod.
My best 60' was 1.88 and I only hit that once. The rest were comparable runs with 1.9 60's. I did 20 runs throughout 3 days and there is no improving 60's for me, this is as good as it gets in stock form ..For me... I have tried everything in the book.
How do things look as far as the whole breakdown goes? Traps seem a bit low to me for an '05 but i'm squealing the tires shifting to 2nd and 3rd so i don't know what else to do.. Also, i'm Shifting at 7100-7300 depending.
My car is # 4104.
I'm not sure how to host or alter the attachments any better, so do the best that you can.
Edit: I can barely read the attachments so FYI:
Best dyno pull = 255hp/260tq
Best run = 1.88 60' | 13.340 @ 102.24

Well your car looks strong from your dyno graphs depending on how that dyno reads. I think those times are about right for an '05 Evo. With a slightly better '60 you would be right at a 13.1-13.2. How are you launching?
Also I found that until I got cams I actually ran faster times by shifting earlier, like 6900-7000rpm's. Your power starts to die any higher than that.

Thanks guys! It's good to hear i am on par with other '05's, though i am somewhat of an overachiever i guess, and i really wanted the 12.9. But i have now come to the conclusion that it isn't happening.
Nah, it's a stock '05 GSR w/ SSL, and i had everything in there, spare, etc.
I'm launching off the 5k limiter and i can pretty much drop it without bogging it. I have tried faster and slower drops, and pretty much 1.8 is the best i came up with.. And then i couldn't duplicate the exact release speed again..
I'll have to try shifting lower though, that sounds like it might help a bit.
I plan on having a dynoflash w/ 2-step by the end of the month, so stay tuned for a little more power w/ better 60's!

Notice that your SAE correction is .95, which means you're making even MORE than 255/260, so I'm surprised you only trapped 102. I would expect 105+ with that dynograph. The driving is good, but maybe the high rpm shifting is hurting your traps. Try 7000-7100rpm or so.
I'm not sure on the claim of squealing 2nd and 3rd. I don't do that with 100 more wtq. In fact, I've _never_ squealed tires in 2nd in over 160 passes, including 100+ in the low 12s, so you may want to see what's up with your car or the track itself. Is your tire pressure 40+ on each tire or something? Even then, I've driven on Blizzaks at 40psi and still can't make them spin in 2nd with all the mods I have now, and I shift extremely hard.

I have about 50 passes in evo this spring so far and not once have I gotten the tires to spin in second, keep working on the 60' and you could possibly squeeze out a 12.9 but it would have to be like a perfect run...

I did the clutch restrictor removal. Though i did chirp the tires going into 2nd once before the removal, when the car had under 10,000 miles on it. Now every time i shift hard i can expect 2nd and 3rd to chirp, on the road or track. The first time i chirped 3rd was on the test run after the removal. Though this could be due to worn stock Advans as well, or full max tire pressure. I'll toss up the video of the track run with most audible tire squeal, when i get a chance to break down and edit the footage of over 50+ runs, including friends runs..
I bet you're all right i'm going to try to shift at 7,000 RPM's, and try and pick up a couple MPH.
Thanks guys!
