LOL... My car is pretty mild actually. Its only our stages 1-4, BR 3065 turbo kit and a AEM EMS. It is still full weight and running the stock head & stock block. The car wont 60 foot though. All it does is spin. The 11.04 pass was with a 1.72 60 foot. The tires are 245/40/18 BFG KDW's. I'm going to get another set of wheels and some tires just for track running. She has a 10 in her without a doubt.

Congrats to everyone!

I'm still in shock as to how fast Dave Buschur custom fabbed a turbo kit for his and Al's car and now they run mid 9's out of the gate. Very impressive! Faster times are just around the corner!

Scorke

10 mph and half a second is a lot of time and speed to find once running mid 9's
Is it just me, or does this settle all the tuner arguments over who has years of experience, at building reliable, consistent, cars that go rounds and have plenty of potential left?

Congrats to Devotuning for winning the one class they entered.

Congrats to the Buschur crew for hosting the event and running some good ET's.

Once running 10's and under there is no such thing as a reliable consistent car, in my eyes. Once running under 10's your goal is to go as fast as possible in the 1320, if not, then convince me that any of the cars that ran under 10's can be used for anything else.

Where do you see potential, I think these cars are as close to as fast as they can go.....

Well first all I will say that both cars/shops I beleive you were talking about are great. I just think there isnt enough data to eliminate doubt of which one is greater. These are great times, for those cars, but I find it hard to beleive that they are just tapped out. 1000hp should be good for 7's in a proper set up drag car.. Obviously they are not drag cars, but im sure they are going to make progress. I remember when some people thought DSMs couldnt go faster when they barely broke in to the 9's.. Now 7's.. Some peoples goals are to win races... With that being said shooting to go as fast as possible may not allways get you a win.. So the goal would be to go as fast as possible with out breaking.

But both tuners deserve alot of respect.
