Oddly, when it came time to tune the car it seems it was already ECUTEK tuned previously and it was prob tuined very well - although we could not find out as we yanked the emanage before the base run

It was a fun car to drive on the street - its a nice strete turbo and with pump gas its a nice low boost 20 psi 400 whp

With alcohol of race gas it would get more "interesting"

haha exactly... im going to talk to ya al about buying an alky kit. maybe next week?

anyways its track day tomorrow.... some 109 unleaded...25 psi.... see what happens?

ohhh and maybe a good launch now too haha

Im kinda interested in this kit. friend of mine tuned put down 492 with cams and basic bolt ons. Beleive this was a meth tune though.

The turbo is larger than a 35r.... you will be looking for high 10s shortly

so i ran it tonight... not to happy...

heres what went down...

first run...

sittin at the line, bouncin off launch limiter, i take off, its goin good, hit third, go for fourth... HIT 6TH!!! god damn it!! so i slam back into 4th and get 5th at the end... ran a 12.3 @118 (20 psi)

next race... 26 PSI....

launch, SPIN through all of first, nail second.... SPIN most through second!!!! never thought that would happen!@?!??! (end up with a 2.02 60 ft) hit third, and its pullin harder than ever... hit fourth...and.... it goes almost right to red line??? wtf??? hit 5th... same thing....?? hmmmm.... pull over and pop the hood... and a nice sweet smell of a SMOKED CLUTCH! yay... exedy twin disc... down the drain.... i can barely shift the car now... time for a tilton..

This is a Greddy (Mitsubishi) T67 which has a smaller turbine and compressor wheels compared to the GT35R.

dont count out the twin disk yet. how many miles are it? i accually got my brand new twin to slip once at the track. has not done it since, but id assume these are strong enough to take one bad track day. have you looked at it yet?
