the car's pretty quick, esp. top end it seems.

so 50 degrees of difference = 2mph in trap that's crazy lol

nice trap speed.

No, the MR is not faster. All IXs are faster than all VIIIs (on average). Yes, all IXs SHOULD be capable of 12s in stock form with good driving, but you can't expect every single IX in every part of the country to be the same strength. There are many factors that affect the ability to hit 12s on the drag strip, so not every IX is actually capable of 12s in stock form.

Agreed. And IF the MR has to have another shift just due to gearing then it could be slower to the length of the shift.

Of course the Evo MR(MITSUBISHI RACING) is faster................................thats the main reason I purchased it for.

how is it faster?? if anything it's slower, its the same power with a just a bit more weight cuz of the 6 speed, but not enough to make any sort of difference.

the trap speed was good, but the run was horrible. i went 13.0 10+ times on my stock 9. and my run wasnt that great, u even had a better 60ft then me i only when 1.86 and 1.9's.... as wartalon stated ur shifting sucks. by the way he tore me a new one after i posted my runs as well
