Put in race gas and go???
Would I be able to put in a couple of gallons af race gas in the tank and run at track with no tuning? Basically, I'm trying to see if I still get knock with race gas on a mail-in dynoflash as it has never run well. I've lowered the boost and added up 8% of fuel on the SAFC and still runs like crap. It was tuned for 20psi and has a 4th gear AFR of 10.8. Also, would I be able to turn up the boost with a little tuning and see if there are any changes of my trap speed?

Yes. It's very standard for us to put in some race gas (even a mix with pump) and raise the boost 2-3psi to rock out. If you are getting knock with a base flash even with adding fuel and lowering boost, then you have a problem not related to tuning or octane. The race gas MAY reduce or remove knock, but that will just be masking the real problem. You need to diagnose the real problem...

I'm guessing the timing is too aggressive. I'm just trying to see if the knock is tuning related or just some noise the knock sensor is picking up. It seems everytime I go down the track, it just losses pull in 4 gear. Here is my best run using some weight reduction, I still consider it a 13 second car and this is not my fastest 1/4 mile trap speed.

So would it be ok to just runs race gas to see if it is tune related? I'm barely hitting 20mph in the back have and it should be around 23-24mph comparing similar timeslips, it seems I run well through the 1/8th (still no where near what it should be) and runs a slow e.t. and trap in the 1/4.
