Well, yeah, but having a laptop is pretty standard these days. You'll need a laptop to interface with the AEM, too. You don't need the laptop for storing the maps - you need the laptop for interfacing with the ECU, whether it's the stock ECU or standalone - same thing either way.

I don't run out of alky during 25-min sessions. I use about half of my 1-gal tank if I go the entire session unabated by traffic while running 26psi constantly in 4th and 5th, then I refill between sessions. I have an 05, so not using the kit that replaces the IC sprayer reservoir - my tank is in the driver's side rear wheelwell. Some people have even larger tanks, which obviously would have much less likelihood of running out, but I have never come close to running out so far. If I had a 45-minute wheel-to-wheel race, it would be more of a worry, but I also have a low fluid indicator. If and when I ever am to the point where I will possibly run out of alky, I will just switch to pure race gas and switch maps. I have a backup race gas map with conservative tune to endure road racing but with more power than standard pump gas and low boost.

Sorry, I won't go off-topic again.

Congrats on the runs I knew you would make us proud. Once again proving the kits make great power and with proper driving from Creamo can run great numbers at the track.

How much is the 50trim kit from RNR racing, I didn't even know they made a 50trim? Also was the first kit that blew a RNR kit also?

Nice speeds. That almost makes me think about going w/ a 50 trim over the 35r.

I got in on a groupbuy; everything shipped was around $3200. The first turbo was from Precision and they warrantied it and sent me a new one.

The MPH is nice, but the proper driving has not occurred yet. Creamo knows that - he can hit very low 11s with these traps once it is properly driven. I'm not sure if he wants to risk the broken drivetrain parts, though.

yeah these time slips are horrible data due to the shabby launches. I mean people have been getting low 12sec 1/4 with traps of around 110-115 but 125? whoa! Also your traps are very good in the 1/8 but the et's could use some improvement. I mean I ran 7.7 with a trap of 90mph.

How much power are you putting out? Any data on that?

Yeah basically what warrtalon said is right. He doesnt know how to drive at all. Hell when I had a few bolt ons I ran 7.7 at 90mph in the 1/8. Now with my current setup I have ran 7.6 with a purposefully bogged launch cause I didnt want to lose my drivetrain and I trapped at 100mph.

So maybe he is doing the same thing.

50 trims that trap 110-115, thats stock turbo MPH.

For reference I was at the track 2 weeks ago and there was a 2nd gen with a 50trim on 100oct running 23-24psi (or so he claimed) and was trapping 123.

that is a believable MPH for a properly setup & tuned EVO on 28psi like he mentioned.

Did you even read my opening post; I know how to launch and I think I can drive. Like I said the way the car is setup right now; it will not hook up. I am not trying to chase a number and like having my transfer case in one piece. I was able to drop .6 off my times just by softening up the suspension. Considering this is the first time at the track w/ this turbo I think I did alright. I usually cut 1.6-1.7 60' times w/ decent tires.
