stock evo9 run
#18
Thanx guys i ran 13.0@104 before he dropped the exhaust he ran a 12.9@107 then i ran a 12.4@107 when i drove the car after the dropped exhaust...and i dont know he told me it was on about 20 psi...i thought that was stock myself so...but i dont know....i know the car is just stock ...

I believe the time, but you just can say it's stock since you run an open exhaust after the downpipe. It's not stock anymore. Weight reduction, on the other hand, is more acceptable by the general public.

Great runs regardless. I thin it's pretty common sense that when you drop the exhaust from the dowpipe back or test pipe back that your car is no longer stock. All those bent metal thingies came on the car, and now they or no longer there, I think that's pretty direct.

Keep plugging away at it. Same setup with the dropped exhaust but upping the boost to 23psi? Good runs and before long you'll probably see that 11sec. slip if you keep it up. And the 23 is the spike correct, or the taper?

thats the spike....yea we are hoping i can get the car into the 11's...i only got 2 runs tonight since the track was so packed so ...the 1st run was 12.4@109 then the last run was the 12.2@110 so its getting their...

if he doesn't have a flash or something I would be surprised, but either way 12.2 with mbc and dropped exhaust is something. I have run into many people claiming their cars are stock when in fact stg 2, they claim since no aftermarket turbo or cams all stock.
