Same full weight Evo IX goes 121.66 mph

Well i'm glad to say that this thursday at Carolina racetrack i made 11.53 @ 121.66 mph. The only changes i made from my setup was adding a new set of Cosworth cams for Evo IX they work perfectly. After a long datalogging and tuning and some hours inthe dyno these are the results. The cams really work in stock turbo. Like before i'm running full weight that includes spare tire and everything in the car and of course on race gas VP C-16 and 26 psi of boost. Here are the timeslip enjoy. I'm planning to go to another racetrack to see if i can low more the 60' foot time because the car can make lower times it was spining tires with 1.69' on Nitto drag radials. I will keep you on notice.

Wow awesome trap speed, your car is making well over 400whp on the stock turbo, man I have always been so amazed by the EVO stock turbo.

How are you getting that MPH? Are you shifting to fifth at the end?

The only thing I wish your E.T. could have went down also, you were hitting 11.5@117mph prior to the Cosworth Cams, and now your trapping 121mph and still running 11.5. Your 60's aren't bad at all, not perfect, but a 1.69 and 1.70 60fts are definitly respectable in my book. What other reasons do you believe the E.T.s were not able to get lower? Are you having to shift into fifth gear at the end?

there's no way around it unless he has a taller final drive ... whether 5-speed or 6-speed he's likely in 5th

great run... list your mods please!

I'm passing the 1/4 mile in fourth gear. The reason i'm not lowering the E.T.'s is because i'm still spinning a little bit in the 60's, like i said i'm going to try in another track and lower more the tires pressures and see what happens. I which i can go 1.58-1.60' and break the local record 11.44 sec by an Evo 8.
thanks everyone,
LF Ruelas
