You've definetly got the power for 12's. Trap seems low and you could definetly get the 60' down. But if you're anything like me, you're not a seasoned track veteran so you can just hope for those good 60' times

This is a good example of why people shouldn't worry so much about dyno numbers. Yes, the driving was very poor here, but that's not surprising for the 1st time. However, only trapping 105.xx indicates stock-like power, not 330whp. That's just 1mph faster than my 05 when it was stock and a tenth slower.

IX w/exhaust, intake, bc, and tune that made 356whp. Ran a 12.7 @ 102 ??? Don't know the 60' but the guy said he didn't have a good launch. Personally from searching on here, I think the dyno it was done on reads high but it's still making more than stock power
I know the car's not making stock-like power because I've been in it and I nearly crapped my pants compared to my stock evo What would explain such a low trap? Oh and elevation is near sea level

Well, I don't believe for a second he trapped 102. Maybe 112? To run a 12.7@102, you have to eithre cut a 1.4 60', or you have to hit the brakes at the end before the finish line. A 12.7 totally sucks for those mods even on an VIII, so it's terrible on a IX, especially with "356whp," but if he really trapped 112mph, then that means the car isn't slow. 102 just doesn't make any sense...

Starts at 3:34, not the best film quality (my crappy cam) so you can't tell if he hit the brakes, but you can clearly see the 12.7 @ 102
edit: sorry for semi-hijacking

The tune may not be optimum, but it's certainly not the reason your car is slow. People always want to point to the tune first instead of ensuring they have no mechanical problems like a boost leak, fouled plugs, low compression, etc.
cs82685, let me rephrase. I don't care what the timeslip or the video says...I do not believe he ran a 12.7 at only 102mph. In fact, I know he didn't. He needs to go again on a different night or to a different track and get 3-4 timeslips showing what his true trap speeds are...
