Drag times on Nitrous

Lets start a thread listing 1/4 mile times and MPH of those running N20. Please list your mods, what size shot your are running, your mods and dyno numbers if you have them. It would be good to have this info consolidated into one thread.

Plenty run it they just don't admit to it when they post there track times here. On a side note I also suspect that most of the fastest and quickist stock turbo Evo's are adding power by using a splash of nitromethane in their methanol. It adds huge power and no one would ever know. I know of someone who was running approx. 11.1 on stock VIII turbo by using c16 + meth + nitro.

wow.. see thats what i like about nitrous/ its very affordable if its done right. I just got a 35r and im on a stock ecu. I would love to run a small 50 shot because i know that would really wake up the car. Problem is no one talks about it, so i have no clue how our cars are doing with nitrous. I just want to know what would be the best way for setting up a 50shot on my stock ecu/35r. everyone talks good things about the NX kits..??..??..

And i think that is all.

so you just have a different map for your nitrous tune correct?
I'm guessing its shot in trough the uicp?
how do you activate the nitrous? is it through a wot switch, window, or push button?

That is what I am talking about. I will be sending you a pm. Hope you like questions. I can't believe you do that on stock pistons and rods. How long have you been running like that? Have you been on the dyno? That is the most nitrous I have ever seen put through an evo. No headwork to valves? That fuel pump must be maxed out. Congrats on those times. That is just killer.

BTW That shop car in the link in your sig is nuts. The one with the strocker. Cut and paste the link to see a very cool evo in the gallery section.

You need to give yourself more credit...Morrison(Bandimere Speedway) is 5800ft of elevation! I helped you with a blown intercooler coupler earlier in the season. Good Job Mark... That is one huge shot!

My friends bone stock evo ranned a 12.5 at 2000ft with just a 50 shot, reflash and mr headers. I attempeted doing a 50 shot yesterday but ran into some problems and did only non nitrous runs. I ran a 13.3 @ 102 at over 4,000 feet. I have a turboback, flash , fuel pump.

I went 11.9 @ 119 on a 50 shot wet, stock motor, stock cams, stock IC, stock filter, stock boost, etc

I have a Walbro and an ACT clutch. That's it.

I went back to the track on a 125 shot and picked up 7mph in the 1/8th over my pass listed above and missed 3rd and 4th due to the clutch not disengaging all the way....still ran 11.9 @ 119. My car typically goes from 87-119 mph on the 2nd half of the track with the 50 shot. My 1/8th on this pass was 95, so I think I can get close to 124-125mph pretty easily. I just installed head studs, Comp 272s, and valvesprings last night so I hope to break 125 next time out. Oh yeah...pump gas on all my passes.
