No launch 1/4 mile time?

Just curious how much time you actually lose if you dont launch. My guess is 2 sec off the 1/4. Is this about right with a stock turbo?

.2 or 2 seconds? You definitely would run faster then 15's in the quarter even if you didn't launch it.

Thank you. This is the information I was looking for. Is your Evo stock?

I actually JUST got back from the track tonight and tried 1/4 with NO launch on my stock evo. (Only mod - Vishnu TBE)

60' - 2.72
1/4 - 14.32
MPH - 102.59

Absolutely 0 launch.. Hope this helps!

with bone stock evo you will be in the low 14s high 13s but add mods and you should never be out of the 13s...

if you launch good nobody has any chance to catch up on you, even with 500hp,cuz they are strong but very heavy too, with the 12V or 8V these engine are whey too heave.and if you launch good you would be unbeaten at the first gear.
still i have to practise that a lot, sometimes i launch excelent and sometimes not, have to practise
