I had a best of a 1.66 with quite a few 1.6's. I ended up killing the clutch fairly quickly though.

Stock clutch with the restrictor pill still in place and stock lines. Consistent 1.70 - 1.72 with the occasional 1.68

I would say you should shoot for consistent low 1.7's

with more practice stone I see you pulling 1.7, you made a big improvement the last time we were @ the track. you were more agressive coming out of the whole.

i know sometimes launching/racing in front of your friends and other people can be a little nerve racking, you launch hard on the streets.

My car once did a 1.58 but I wasn't driving Stock tires and 36 psi all around. 1.7 is a good average time for an Evo. 1.6 is excellent.

Last night was my 1st time to take the evo to the track, and only my 3rd, 4th and 5th time to launch it. 1.68, 1.68, and 1.75. stock IX clutch, no restrictor pill, stock clutch line.

man u guys drive well! i felt like i got out of the hole well, but my best 60ft was 1.81 And the clutch started to smell real bad. (stock clutch 14k mi and 15 or so passes) I use the 2 step at 5800 or so and semi quickly drop it.. I can only imagine what just a 1.7 is like! I'll practice once i get a stronger clutch! great driving u guys.

You might want to drop the tire pressures a bit and slip the clutch quicker and your 60' should drop. good luck.
