To wing or not to wing?

Just wondering if anybody has expeirenced any real gains in the quarter removing the factory wing, either in trap speed or times? I know its 8 lbs of weight but I was thinking about down force and the drag coefficient. The fastest guys and girls are running without, just looking for some numbers. Thanks for the help.

i have tried it back to back runs, absolutely no MPH difference.. both at 151 and 156 mph runs. I did notice the car got very loose on the top end when I took off the wing, so I would say keep it on

The wing and/or the VG really work when you go 110+ mph, so if your car doesn't go 110+ for long, then the weight saving might be worth it.

I'm at 95+ by half track, but since there is no hard proof then I'll put the money else where.
