Thanks, the car is a blast to drive on the street, I hope to someday road race it or autocross it, the low end torque is insane.
Hey dan why does it fall of at top... 17 lbs?
my buddy with his 9 is holding 26 to redline, and while its not making as much as you on dougs the logs said for sure it was holding 26.
He doesnt have a wga or anything of that sort, Just a halman BC.
I was just wondering where I am missing something.

P.s. that thing would be ridiculous on some 275 race rubber out autocrossing, you got to get out there and clean up those vets' sleeper style!
good driving man and hopefully we will see out at the strip on the 30th!

Have you put the car on a dyno the way it sits now? How much did it make? and how much torque was it making when you spiked to 30lbs?

I haven't seen any IX stock turbo hold 26lbs at 7k, that's insane... maybe he has is he running aftermarket 02 housing? If I could only hold 26lbs through the powerband, I'm sure I could hit a 10 sec pass

yes went to the local Dougs Dyno Power Mustang Dyno, it made 406 whp and 448 ft lbs on the spike

yes went to the local Dougs Dyno Power Mustang Dyno, it made 406 whp and 448 ft lbs on the spike
that would be sick... 26lbs at redline on that car. man that thing would be a beast.
10's wouldnt even be a question.
From personal experience, this car is definitely a freak, so much torque down low its not even funny, I think its Dan's break in technique. racing it on the way home from the dealership

I recently added an AMS fmic ($300) changed to a buschur downpipe since the ebay downpipe was rubbing, quartermaster twin disk clutch and MS 109 tuning and it made 408 whp and 448 ft lbs of torque. I'm not going to exaggerate, the car is a freak, lights up the tires on the street on a roll, and that is with a stock cat back, intake, bov etc so its very quiet.
How does it idle with just the exhaust cam in? Also do you think the AMS licp makes a difference?

Great #'s BTW. My 9 is my daily driver so I have not wanted to mess with it. You make it sound so safe and fun lol

it has a bushur 02 housing. thats it.
only on a hallman bc.
chris at ams tuned it and doug dynoed it and cleaned up a few little things.
but yes I am very sure he is holding almost 26 know its not below 24.
when he gets his other turbo I am buying that from him for the 8.
Ill see him today so ill confirm this.

with all the new evo 9 cams out? why use an evo 8 exhaust cam? can u get more power out of a 9cams?
