well, basically here's the breakdown of mods

Forge MBC $50
Ebay 02 housing $50
3" cat delete $50
ebay 3" downpipe $100
Buschur ported exhaust manifold/hot side $150
272 GSC exhaust cam $225
AMS licp donated
Ecuflash (free) tuned on 100 octane

I recently added an AMS fmic ($300) changed to a buschur downpipe since the ebay downpipe was rubbing, quartermaster twin disk clutch and MS 109 tuning and it made 408 whp and 448 ft lbs of torque. I'm not going to exaggerate, the car is a freak, lights up the tires on the street on a roll, and that is with a stock cat back, intake, bov etc so its very quiet.

Its a 7.25 cerramatellic disk, similar style to the Tilton twin, it utilizes a hydraulic throw out bearing and lightweight flywheel. Total weight is like 24lbs I believe, lot of the DSM guys have used it in the past, it holds up great on the track and launch's very smooth.

I weighed the IX RS at 3180 without the cat back on and about 4 gallons of gas. Best run with stock cat back on was 11.5 at 117, with it off 11.4 at 118.8 Its a IX RS so already light, but could be much lighter, I drive it daily and wanted to keep the car quiet, streetable yet very quick. There are no fancy mods on this car, pop the hood and you will notice it looks bone stock with just a braille battery.

no sir, spare tire, jack was not in there. These results are pretty typical for Evo 9 owners, with good tuning similar results can apply with proper tuning and parts. I just avoided the unecessary expensive items such as intake, BOV's, gauges, intercooler upper pipe, injectors/fuel pump etc. For example, my evo 8 ran 11.7 at 115 with cams, tbe, flash, pump and fmic, the rest was bone stock, that was on 93 octane with mix on 100, full weight, i feel if some porting and 02 housing, 100 octane tune results again would be similar.
