Quest for 11s on pump turned out dissapointing
So I hit the track tonight and there was definately something wrong with my car. I ran a 12.7 @103 then I lowered the boost to 22 and rolled out and ran a 13.1 @105. I am on the stock clutch so maybe the clutch was slipping or maybe the car was just knocking every gear up top. Here is what the timeslip looked like.
R/T........... .028
60'..............1.74
330'............5.115
1/8..............7.994
MPH............84.19
1000...........10.535
1/4..............12.701
MPH.............103.23
I am trapping less than a stock IX. help guys please.

did you feel the knock, was timing being pulled? The car could have been running to lean and pulling timing especially top of third and fourth. I had this problem once I ran a 12.2 at 100 (no power top of fourth). Good luck.

I don't think it is knock. Your 1/8th mph & trap are what they should be based on your ET at that point. Your 60 is ok and you could improve on that some. But I really think there is something holding the car back. I would do a boost leak test for sure!

Actually the 1/8th ET is really not that great because something is wrong. The car has the power to trap at least 88 in the 1/8 it is going 84. 60' is what it is because of a limited stock clutch, I do not launch off the two step for that reason.

I'm saying the 7.9 @ 84 mph is about right. Meaning that the 84 mph 1/8th trap would give you about a 7.9 in the 1/8th. If the car normally traps 88 mph in the 1/8th then as I said earlier there must be something up (boost leak, etc..).
