The only way to regulate perfomance is through chassis/tire rules. Don't limit performanc through stupid rules that limit motor performance etc. In the end it does not matter what power you're making if everyone has the same chassis/tire combo. That seems to work for the 10.5 tire racers. Wonder why that class is the most popular presently.

The DSM that ran at the shootout against AMS was smoking like a freight train. It ran an 8.42 against AMS's 8.56, correct, the smoke kept the lights blocked. I guess we should let that 8.42 record stand even though the best time before that was 10's.
Keith, you could claim it was the heater core if you like douche, just make sure when you do the driver gets out of the car soaked in antifreeze and that the hood stays open on the car for a hundred people to see the heater hose hanging off of the core.
Nitrous does that to head gaskets, you should have warned Brandon first.

That car has NEVER had NOS. When you can actually shift fast enough to keep the car on boost you don't need NOS. 
My post was directed toward Al, and his car. It was not directed toward you at all. Cracked blocks will normally do that to heater hoses.....You should have warned Al first.

Al did not blow off a heater hose, he broke a Groden aluminum rod. My car blew off the heater hose so that would mean your comment was directed at ME actually.
It's funny to me, we raced last weekend and I posted both the good and the bad of the day, three cars we had there broke, Al's Matt's and mine. You didn't see me hiding it.
On the other hand we now get to hear about a head gasket issue and YOU are pointing fingers at us?
Crap happens at the racetrack, it's reality. Hiding it or not hiding doesn't change a damn thing, they still break and you either rebuild them or quit.
Some of us win and don't talk crap, some of us lose and don't talk crap. Others can't win or lose and be a good sport. For example, here's the text message you clown of a boss Mark sent to Al after Brandon's run: "tell that ******* Buschur that Brandon just went 8.7 and go **** himself"
I'm glad when AMS ran faster than we did I could walk over and congratulate them and when we went faster they did the same to us. I don't recall and nasty comments, text messages or snide remarkds on either of our parts.
