Paul you don't power shift / flat shift?

From the datalogs, how much time do you guys reckon you are losing from shifting right now.

The problem is we really only have 3 clean passes so far. we have been dealing with traction controll problems and suspension.
There has been no point in power shifting if you can't go straight So ive been baby shifting it till we get the suspension down. Right now with the softer struts we put in the rear its comes out of the hole much nicer.

We went to the track Sunday but had problems with the AEM so it would break up anything past 6000rpms we are working on the problem as we speak so we can be on the dyno tomorrow and at the track Thursday get some clean passes in.
I have to power shift if im going to make this combo work. I can baby the 1-2 but need to power shift 2-3 and 3-4. brandons combo and these guys combo spool up much faster than mine. If you look at the log if i dont power **** at 10,500 i drop into vacum. If i do power shift i drop to 9200rpms
I just wish our tracks wernt so busy only getting to run 2-3 passes is a pain.

Where almost there ccrain you'll see some #s real soon

Oh yes I'm sure you will! I forgot you have not really made too many clean passes yet so that is the main thing. Thanks for the info and good luck!

Hmmm..I would figure it would be the opposite. The 330' is the most important part of your entire run. If you don't hit the 1-2 fast you won't get a good 330' which gives you the killer 1/4 mile E.T.'s. I find it the hardest to keep the car in boost on the 1-2 shift over the 2-3 and 3-4. The bigger the turbo the harder it is to keep it in boost.

By far one of the best driver I have seen. The shift look as good or better then shep, but you can't compare a 7' monster to a 10's beast.

Keith is exactly right on this! I dunno how many times I have tried to explain this to people. 60ft.s are important, but I look at the 330ft. is more important then anything else. 80% of the ET is gathered in the 1st half of the track, thats where all the racing happens.
