Ah, well no wonder the trap is so low - shifting to 5th.

An answer would be this- at this point we're running better then those with tuned cars so we're good for now . Once we're able to write the stock ECU we'll be tuned . On this run we had the EBC duty cycle set at 45% and figured that would give us room on on my way to the track I found out almost maxing out at 95% gave us only 27lbs . The wastegate spring is too lite but we do have a few heavier springs here that we'll use next time .

Next time we'll be 100% on everything with this car so we sure expect a much better time running 32lbs and with some slicks

1.128 Reaction time? what were u sleeping at the wheel?

Appears from the heading that the car is untuned & Not running slicks... you just adjusted boost?? correct or incorrect those are nice 60's and nice 1/4 times... obviously there's a lot more on the table ...

congrats

For test and tune I don't care about reaction time, I just go when I'm ready .

Correct, no tuning and the slicks we had borrowed were not on. The boost was up, but still not where we wanted it that day, we should be hitting 30+ now no problem. (Frank made a few changes)

We went to the track this past Friday and had the worst traction ever. I literally spun 2nd (let off to regain traction) and 3rd. Looking to get slicks of our own and hopefully I can get the 60 foots down more.

Congratulations on the times and nice slips. The car should be much quicker once it gets tuned.

Thanks . Once the time is right it will be tuned I think we're doing ok for not being tuned so far ; I mean - spinning 275 's in 2nd and 3rd gears in an Evo X is not easy . Expect some better numbers when we make some passes with the slicks . Also many "tuned" cars don't seem to be doing so well so , I'll take my time ..

At the Speed Clinic Dyno we put down 358hp and 367 TQ @ 21lbs and at 25lbs we ran an 11.9 . Now at 30-32lbs we just spin the 275's all over the place - I guess we're running ok

Who are the other tuned Evo 10's? I see your Evo on the list for the 10's, but no one else.

No other X's are running the 1/4 or have they not put their slips up yet?

Interesting how you are having tire spin issues where as I have clutch spin issues and was even trying to spin the tires first.

Good news is the local dealership is actually going to install a new clutch for under $300 since I'm barely at 3k miles as long as I supply the ready to bolt in upgraded clutch/flywheel.

With the factory clutch we had the same problems, had maybe 5 good launches out of it, then it would just slip. Now with the ACT clutch, we get tire spin. Still using the factory launch control too, I love it, very consistent.

Mods are the norm; intake, IC pipes, large IC, tubular exhaust manifold all made by Frank@XtremeBoost, o2/dp/test pipe combo, full 3" exhaust with magnaflow muffler. Boost was set at 27ish, run was done on a race gas mix. Everything was just clicking, track was good, boost was good, car was smooth. Once we get slicks we should easily beat these times. Just need to get them.
