8.90 @ 150 and shutting off early....
Ha, Gotcha. My big bro (the one that gave me the 71 Hemi Cuda) is a Vietnam Vet and is the one I used to race with in the 70's. Recently, he completed his own 71 Blown Hemi Cuda that's street legal and has an Indy 528 cubic inch motor. The car weighs 3800+. The first time ever to the track, he got kicked out for 'testing' it when on it's second pass ever, it went 9.52 at 140 something. Yesterday, while I was working on the OKIX car at Buschurs, Dan called me and told me that he told them again that he was only going to 'Launch' the car. Riiiiiigggghht. Well his "launch" was a one way trip to permant "You're OUTA HERE". He went 8.90 at 150 and shutdown early. Guess those old Hemis still have it in them. Congrats Dan, you're my hero.

Naw, he's grinning enough for the rest of his life. He turned 60 this year and still acting just like a kid. He thought it was funny since he was only supposed to launch and test the 60'. To him, it's a mark of accomplishment getting anything that says 'LIFETIME'.
