can someone analyze my crappy track day that i did about a month ago..
i just need to know if i'm not shifting fast enough... i have a feeling i might be a bit conservative..
i ran only 3 times because my S-AFC2 settings were erased for some weird reason (i've heard it's happening to others), so i just did it for practice.. i knew they wouldn't be very good since i only ran the safe settings and only 19.5 psi..
1st run:
1.774 - 60ft
5.401 - 330
8.398 - 1/8
80.86 - mph
11.009 - 1000
13.20 - 1/4
103.11 - mph
2nd run:
1.839 - 60ft
5.483 - 330
8.505 - 1/8
80.34 - mph
11.126 - 1000
13.33 - 1/4
102.59 - mph
3rd run (increased boost to 22psi.. figured it'd be ok since i ran 100oct gas):
2.027 - 60ft (ARGH!! BOG!!)
5.715 - 330
8.709 - 1/8
79.81 - mph
11.30 - 1000
13.46 - 1/4
104.69 - mph (obviously the boost was set too low before!)
THEN THEY CLOSED THE TRACK!!! I wanted one more run so bad!
Should I even go back to the track and beat on the car again (my daily driver) with the more aggressive SAFC settings that I now have programmed again + the obviously more efficient 22psi and see if that's all it is, or should I wait til I get some more mods put on?
I should be able to run a 12.8-12.9 @ 106-107 with my current mods, right?

Rather rude of you.
The man is going out of his way to try and help your problem, and you want to make him spend more time searching for your dyno?
You should be curtesy and provide a link to it.
Time slip would help to so we can see your reaction times and trap speeds.

Looks like your shifting at redline. Try shifting at 7400ish in 3rd and see what happens.

IMO, those 60' times prove that the problem isn't driver or clutch. It doesn't take that much finesse to upshift very quick, I'm sure you're doing that fine. The car dynoed well, so it certainly isn't a "weak Evo". Maybe if it dynoed like 220 with all those mods, I'd believe it was weak.
To me, the problem obviously has to be one of two things:
(1) The intake is freaking the MAF out (also the high intake temperatures) and although it was tuned fine for a stationary run on a dyno, high velocity of airflow is screwing everything up.
and/or
(2) The AFC settings. Personally, I don't think an SAFC is a very elegant solution for fuel management, particularly on this ECU. I have a $50 spot that says with the stock airbox and retuned to better fuel management, the car will make repeatable results to the dyno on the road and break into the 12s with ease.
The easiest/most obvious place to start is pulling that intake for a run at the track- if your AFC settings won't make the car pig rich with the swap.
