That is correct. Didn't the 2000 Galant also have the twin piston calipers as well? I coincidently have a 99 Galant sitting in my driveway right now that will be donating it's calipers to my Evo along with some aftermarket drilled/slotted rotors that SHOULD be lighter then the stock galant rotors on the next track day if I can secure 15inch rims with slicks. ![Thumbs Up](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/smilie_thumbsup.gif)
The best part about it all is it will cost me a total of $180-$200 to put a "mini" brake kit on my car with buying two new aftermarket front rotors, new pads, and a caliper paint kit to make it look presentable. It may not have the same stopping power as those $1200 brake kits but it will certainly be enough to stop the car post 1320.

john,
this ~500 pricing would be only for the front setup? if that is so, what did you do on the rears? leave the brembo rears in place? someone i know recently put the rs gravel brakes in the front and left the brembo rears on, but it biased rear braking too much and was locking up while the front was fine.

Nitz- As far as a drag application these worked fine. I would venture that some of it is master cylinder not being 100% matched to the caliper piston surface area. Possibly in his case an adjustable proportioning valve might aid in taking away some of the excess brake bias.

By the way if you have an eta on the front brake kit i have 2 customers that are interested and were asking me about options......feel free to pm if you don't care to put that info out yet.
