Aaron's slicks...

...and little brakes made it onto a car finally. For the record factory Mitsu part numbers for USDM supplied calipers and rotors directly bolted on with the addition of new bracket bolts. Banjo bolt was the same and hoses interchange.

The slicks do require some fender rolling on an otherwise stock car since they are 26-8.50-15 and on a 7.5" wheel with 19mm offset.

Enjoy-

I will be attempting to set some more records in the near future so a little weight reduction and some added traction should help.

Just wondering Lucas, are you still on the factory drivetrain (other than the clutch/flywheel)? T/C, tranny, axles, etc?

Car looks ready for business

They look like Convo Pro's?

Anyone going to try some Weld Prostars i think they would look sick if they have a dimension that we can make fit!

Can you get a little more info on the small brake setup? I would love to have a set of small wheels and slicks for my car but I just can not affored to spend the big $$ on the small brake setup.

Car looks good though. Good luck running a # on the stocker.

For the record these are mine and on loan

They are 15x7.5 et 19 Convo Pros. They weigh 11lbs apiece and the tires weigh 18 lbs apiece. On my car this will be like a 120lb reduction, and Luke's its still about 65-70.

I have had 2 sets of these on other cars I have had in the past so rather than get motegi's or gram lights I wanted to be different and try this. I have been changing my combo alot lately so rather than waste them on a car that has other issues I decided to let luke borrow everything for BOTI this weekend and I'll run on street tires until I get my combo sorted.

Luke is running an 04 RS T-case, and an EnglishRacing 8/9 5 speed with an exedy triple. The axles are stock though.

Would a 16x17.5 fit?

I have these left over from my 01 Lightning and always wondered if they'd fit the Evo...
