1/8 track time

I ran a 1.77 60ft and 7.92 in the 1/8 mile, no 1/4 mile tracks close to me, but that should be around a 12.3-12.4 1/4 I think. Here's a quick pic of me at the track. I will post a video as soon as i get it from a buddy.

Yes, that run in the 1/4 should be about a 12.3. Maybe even a 12.2 if you can shift the heck out of 3rd and 4th.

I'd be interested to know what you whp is since you are running meth? You claim to have an AMS tune, I'd like to know what you put down.

I doubt that unless he has big time top-end. My 12.30 was a 7.82 and 12.26 was a 7.76. This is probably a 12.4-12.5. That's a crapload of mods for that time. It's a shame how heavy the Xs are...

I don't know....

This is what a friend of mine ran recently.... The only real difference in mods is the meth. So that's why I gave him the benefit of running slightly faster from the 1/8th to the 1/4.....the meth. I figured he would have a bit more top end.

60' 1.883
330' 0
1/8 8.098
1/8 mph 86.02
1000' 10.536
1/4 12.582
1/4 mph 109.93

The poster is almost 2 tenths faster at the 1/8th, which puts him at 12.40 for the 1/4. Given the extra hp from the meth, it could easily be a 12.35 or better.

You're confused by two things:
1) Big difference in 60' between these two runs. The crappy 1.88 by your friend is why his 1/8th is so low. The OP here had a much better, though not spectacular 60'. He didn't mention his mph, so we can't really tell how fast the car. Anyway, your friend should have had a much better 1/8th AND 1/4 for that mph, but the driving sucked. The run in this thread was better driving, which shows a much better 1/8th but not necessarily a much better 1/4, since he may not be as fast.

2) This is an Evo X. You can't randomly guess that it will have higher top-end just because it has meth. These things weigh 3500lbs or more, so they have to make a lot more power just to go as fast as VIII-IXs.

the printer was down that night so I didn't get my slip but my buddy told me I ran 89mph. The track had no prep so the 1.7 was the best I could get that night
