Thanks everyone!

I use to cut 1.60 on my Falkens when I had less power...but as my power went up my traction got worse and so did my 60fts.

I expect to get much better 60fts with my slicks as I figure out what my setup likes

Nitz, not that our 1/8ths were historic, but we did run the fastest times in the US, until recently, on the Green. Here's a snap shot of our times/mph at various points in the runs. You can see that we only went 101.x, even on the 10.6x passes. That's why I feel that the 102.x mph in the 1/8 on anyones Green is very good mph. Our gains on the back half were about 28-29 mph on these particular runs.

I can't believe I forgot to congratulate Wayne on that great pass. Congrats!

Tom thanks for clarifying that. Would slacking in the back half like that indicate a setup that is not optimized for top end either by cam selection or gearing provided the shift points were hit and gears changed well.

maybe shifting to 5th instead of holding it down in 4th or letting up before the finish line which isn't always where you'd expect it.

Were you on the limiter in 4th?

What rpm is your limiter set to?

I'm sure that shift into 5th killed the et/mph.

I know it's not apples to apples but the prev. owner of my car went 10.8 @ 123mph having to shift into 5th.

Now with the 8 4th gear i can wind it out in 4th all the way through the line and the car traps well into the 130 range and et's a bit more than 0.2's. It does have about 30-40 more hp though

lol, I went for a ride in my friends "Fast Frank" (he is on here) and his car pulls like mad with the Red and E85. So Saturday I had a big install day....cams, turbo, new e/m, Full Blown pump setup. My 1200 injectors should be in today, thats a quickie.

I must quit modding the car

The Green must feel like a beaten step-child by now. You didn't do the same thing to the girls you dated in highschool, did you? Why don't you have times and numbers by now. You've had a couple of hours already.

^ lol

I spent a month or so with the green before moving on...since I regulate my car to 93 octane pump gas it just wasn't giving me a good bang for the buck. Too bad the red wasn't available back then I bet I would have been much happier with it.

I broke her heart (Green) by taking her off my 18,000 mile 04 evo lol, but she will be in good hands here in the "D". Heh, some studied the books in school....it was more the short skirts for me

Hopefully I will be going to Milan dragway real soon. I figure this time I will just work on my 60fts...before I do a full pass and get kicked out again No cage yet....
