My 1/4 Mile Track Times!!!!!!!!!!

Well I know some people have been waiting to see what my car can do in the 1/4mile. So I went last night and here our my times. Sorry my scanner is not working so i just typed them in for now. Also this track is 3700 ft above sea level as well.

My best run:

60 ft...........1.8070
330 ft.........5.1620
1/8 ET........7.9432
1/8 MPH.....89.80
1/4 ET........12.2759
1/4 MPH.....115.09

My second best run:

60 ft...........1.8830
330 ft.........5.2000
1/8 ET........7.9671
1/8 MPH.....88.91
1/4 ET........12.2851
1/4 MPH.....115.64

My highest trap speed run but I had a really bad launch:

60 ft.........2.1661
330 ft.......5.5129
1/8 ET.......8.2960
1/8 MPH....88.41
1/4 ET.......12.6122
1/4 MPH....115.95

Thanks for looking, all runs I am maxing out 4th gear. When i get my car tuned again I might raise it to 8,000rpm but then again I am still going to have to shift into 5th anyways because when I get my car tuned again I am raising the boost from 23psi to about 30 psi.

I might go back to the track soon again because I feel I can get this car into the high 11's. I think I just have to cut a lil faster 60 ft time and try some different shifting. But if i were at sea level I am pretty sure this car would of seen some good high 11's time slips. And ill see if i can find an other scanner to scan my time slips.

Dang, that altitude is killer. You are picking up a lot of mph on the back half, get that 60' down a bit and maybe some faster shifting and you will have your 11's.

Is that turbo laggy?

Actually this turbo is spooling up just like a stock turbo would. I am hitting max boost around 3,700 to 4,000 rpms

dude, elevation is a killer! My car felt 100% different when I moved from Wa to AZ. Went from damn near sea level to around 3000-3500. It SUCKS ***! BTW good times! Im hoping I can get near those times with my current mods. I just need the driver mod since Ive never raced my car, lol.

For reference, we went 7.68@90 in the 1/8 on our 11.99 pass. Your 1/8 is down, but you have the mph for an 11. Good luck next time out, I think you should get it.

Ya people don't realize how much evevation hurts. But at least i am turbo cuz it would be worst with out a turbo at this elevation. Good luck with your times.

Ya I think my MPH's are high enough to hit 11's just need to cut a better 60ft times. I am sure my car can do it but the elevation is a killer as well. But i think 12.2 is pretty good with that trap speed.

Nice work Joe, I'm gunning for your times this Wed on my stock turbo!

What tire pressures were you running and did you feel the tires were spinning or was the car bogging a bit after the launch? I would imagine 1.7x short times should be doable if everything comes in line.

Spinning all four tires set at 30 psi in 1st gear thanks to a great ACT clutch!

The Stock Turbo was tapering above 6000 RPM's no matter how high the boost was set for.

I was bouncing the 7800 rev limiter just after the traps every run, LOL...

60' - 1.784
1/8 - 8.067 @ 84.88
1/4 - 12.552 @ 110.30

Lots of factors holding me back, Its just not optimized for running the quarter mile much faster. Looks like I edged out your 60' times but my trap speeds are still a good 50 hp lower than you so your 12.2's are safe for now! I think I could manage a 12.4 run and I'll see what I can get next Wed which will likely be my last trip to the strip this year.

Hey man awesome run espically with the trap speed. Ha ya i guess my 12.2 is safe for now lol but i am going back to the track next month for one last time as well. I am sure with better 60ft times i can break 11s. I wish i was at sea level cuz 11s would be easy then lol. Up here i have to earn it. Well keep me posted when you go back to the track.
