Jeff, I missed you last night. When are you coming up? We still have so many things to work on that I may stay another week, just so we can make Norwalk next Friday. Dragway 42 just isn't a 'Summit Raceway Park'. If Trent could get some traction, I have a very strong feeling that some other records are going to fall. Hope to see you before I go back south.

Good deal Jeff. I feel like the Lone Ranger instead of a Musketeer. The Amigos have me surrounded. Guess me and Red are going to have to fight off all you big dogs. Game on. Seriously, I look forward to seeing you again.
Top, thanks. We've tried to keep our eyes on the prize and just work through adversity. As you know, it's not always easy, but the rewards are worth the effort. I'm REALLY impressed with the FP-5R cams. I read AMS's cam test results and always felt that for some reason they were being down played, yet careful analysis showed them to be very smooth and progressive on their power delivery. They also topped out right at the Tomei 280's, yet weren't getting the recognition they deserved. Our Mivec maps are DEFINITELY different, but David and I both worked on those maps and cam up with some good starting numbers.

yep, thats moving for such a small turbo... I was running 145 on a 67mm as well. I got a ride from a local friend that has the red, it spools quick and pulls hard, his car is relitively stock too. It got me thinking of trying it on my drag car, with how light it is the car would move pretty good.
I finally tuned one today and on a totally stock ecu and engine with 272 cams and Buschur Stage IV it made 510 whp at 28 psi. Not bad and the lag was less than opn say perhaps a GT35 kit.
I think for 99% of customers who do regular street driving the red is a hard to beat turbo.
Only problem really is the wait time to secure one.

****ing stellar performance Tom and crew! 145 miles an hour is INCREDIBLE performance, particularly considering the "non-beer can" nature of the car. Some traction and you will be the guy with all the cookies my man! While I am sure that the cooler air this time of year has got to be helping out some, I've got to ask myself how much of a boost you are getting from going from the Jun272 to the FP5R camshafts. I've been waiting to see what would happen when they went in, and I guess now we now that at the very least they didnt slow you down any
Very nice work!

Al, did you tune on pump or race fuel?
I agree the red is certainly a great turbo
