Curious as to how your IDC's are with the 1000cc injectors. With 1200's I'm ok on pump, but start getting up there on race gas.
thanks bud.

I don't know for sure... I tuned the car to ~ 600awhp in DLL (3rd gear pull on the street) about 3 weeks ago and my logging cable started acting up and finally died. I ordered a replacment cable from two sources because I was desparate to finish the tune and hit the track but neither has arrived yet. So I went to the track blind, the only indications I have were my WB02 which showed too rich after 8500rpm and my EBC which showed 32.5psi during a 3rd gear pull and 34.5psi spike when powershifting. When I was tuning it 3 weeks ago the peak IDC I saw was 91% in a 3rd gear pull up to 8500 where I had the limiter set back then.

the AFR plays a massive role with IDC and normally with race gas I might lean it up to 12.0 but I'll probably keep it a bit richer for when I do some high boost runs on c16 eventually. I'll definitely keep an eye on IDC and AFR...it's usually pretty obvious when you keep adding fuel in the map, the IDC rises but the AFR still doesn't want to change.

haha, yeah I totally meant to buy a rubber snake next door in the Halloween section and get shannon back for putting that damn mouse on my neck last time I was at the track...my brother turbomiketsi was good enough to capture the whole thing on tape so I owe him one too we all had a good laugh...great night.

nope, I power shifted it this time, I picked up 5mph...the previous best was 130

I think I posted the g-tech comparison either in here or another thread (lost track) and it wasn't dead on but still very useful for tuning when you can't get to the track.

ahh, cool..imma try to find that comparison..to save 30 bucks a pop on testin and tuning..would be great to spend the money on of those units to see improvement...and of coarse hit the track to face unsuspectful victims!

memphis, '10,s i see'......

keep up the good work.

yes...on that particular run here's what the comparison was:

track vs g-tech
60' 1.68 1.67
1/8 6.78 6.65
1/8 107.66 111.08
1/4 10.42 10.27
1/4 135.13 135.91

it seems the powershifting throws it off a little but it's still helpful.

Great job Chris! I follow your work because my setup is going to be quite similar to yours, except for the double fuel pump and the COP's. My wish is to run 10s on pump, MAF and full weight and I'm more and more confident. Keep up the good work!

Damn congrats, how did you get around the 380 load limit on the stock Maf/Ecu? Either that or the car has some awesome VE.

just because it stops logging at 380kpa that doesn't mean you can't still add fuel/timing

And lastly, how do you prevent the MAF from being sucked in to high hell
