Congrats man
I really think that with slicks, race fuel, and more work on the tune you WILL run a 9 with the stock ECU
That is going to be one of the biggest accomplishments of the year!

thanks guys,
smp, I'm a bolt on kind of guy these days...turbo/header/fuel pump/wiring that sort of thing I don't mind doing. But a very good friend of mine has a shop with a lift and we trade out work so he does the hard work I'm burned out on, engine/tranny r&r. Occasionally he'll need me to tune a car that comes though there or help with his computers (I'm also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)

I know I sound like a fanboy and that might rub some people the wrong way due to their alliance with other shops but I have always given credit where credit is due when I see it regardless of what brand is being used.[/QUOTE]
There is nothing wrong in giving credit where credit is due. Well done on the car.

Dude all your cars have soo much more than mine. And so much more money. AEM, Pro-Tuned. You should be able to spot me 5 cars on pumpgas, on the same tires and beat me by 5 cars and take my money!
I really cant afford to run the tires you guys do and break something. If you want to run unleaded vs unleaded no meth. street tires on both cars. I hate to handicap you man. But you should **** me up anyway. Aside from my block i have like 2k. in my car!
I'll come up and meet you at hobby lobby one weekend. you can look my car over. Stock head/im/tb, ebay fmic, no meth/alky nothing.
My clutch slipped on 30psi. I will be changing that and trying 35 psi. I guess well find out what 7psi does.
I'm not knocking mellon. Theres hardly anyone else going anywehre close tot hat on stock ecu and no racegas. He did beat my street tire time by .2 so i cant say anything. I've only made 4passes at the strip this year.
I will be changing my clutch, and getting springs and retainers. My 131 was limited by 8200 revlimiter for stock springs and retainers.
Also, I would like to say, DB is a amazing tuner, His parts work great I would have them on my car if they weren't so expensive.
However, its not magic like you all make it out to be.
