hi, i want to know what tires is best for drag and street... my car is 50% - 50% DD and Drag car... i want a good tires...
NT 555R Drag Radial P245/45R-17 95V
or
NT-01 245/45ZR-17 95W BLK or 255/40ZR-17 94Z BLK
im on stock wheels... if you think the treadwear is to low for a street, please letme know... i had a SRT-4 with 450 whps, and always need BF Drag Radials TW 0 to get some traction and reducing wheel hop, i know the evo is different.. but i dont know what tires are good for my evo and try to reducing wheel hop!!

I have had better luck with the BFG drag radials. For stock wheels the only size you can get to fit would be 225/45/17
I have had the nitto drag radials on a couple cars and never had any luck with them.
As for the NT01's they are a stiff side wall and won't be the best for drag racing.
You want the side wall to give and absorb some of the shock on the launch.

Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec (245/45ZR17) 200 TreadWear
i want use the tires on the street!!!

the bfg in the 225 is fine. many people have run them for street/strip use.
These tires you are looking at are road racing tires. the problem is street/autocross/road racing tires are the stiff side walls. yes they have a low tread wear due to having a very sticky tire, but the stiff side wall doesn't allow to give like a true drag radial.
You have to decide what you want to do and what is more important; street or drag. either way you are going to sacrifice having the best of both worlds

I pull consistant mid 1.5's on mine all day long and again have pulled a personal best of 1.52 on a car that weighs 3330 with me in it.
The Nitto's have to hard of a sidewall still IMO and you will get wheel hop.

Go with the BFGs, thats what I was running before I went to the MT Slicks. They will do low 1.6 and consistent 1.5 60s all day and hold up also.
The Nittos SUCK! Ask Trent at Buschur and he'll go with the BFGs also. Ask VWJeff about his nittos and the track rental! lol Rear diff go boom!
As for the other tires you are talking about, they are all hard sidewall road racing slicks, not drag. They will lead to you buying T-cases and rear diffs from wheel hop! Your better with a set of snow tires than the re01r, Star Specs, or the NT-01.
