Def get the slick and go back out. The thing will run 10.8 with ease.

Thanks bro. After I ran that time I was thinking damn I wish I had Fathouse's cell# so I could text you the time. With a nasty 60ft I agree that a 10.8 could be possible. Honestly I'd be happy as hell if my best was a 10.99 even with slicks.

I know there's a new list for stock turbo times. I created it. I'll make all inquiring minds a promise. If I can get a set of slicks and break into the 10's I'll list all of my modifications that are currently on the car. I'd much rather be able to call it a 10second stock turbo modification list then an almost 10second stock turbo modification list.

If you look back at my previous posts you can see a list of all my parts from my previous stock cams setup.

Damn good runs chris. You are deffinately so close to hitting the 10 second goal you set for you car. Maybe you should give it one or 2 more tries. You are right on the edge of hitting it. I am sure Scott would love to see that car make a 10 sec pass, I know I would. Find a set of slicks to use. Who knows you may hit it on the first run.

Try to find someone's M/T slicks for 17's Mine definitely need small brakes. FYI- I ran 15 psi in my stockers and yielded an average of 1.60 60's with an occassional 1.59. That may be enough to get you the 10 sec pass. But since its a major trip for you I would search for the slicks. Someone has to have a set. Dont give up yet. If you went 11.28 or something I would say maybe move on, but not with an 11.0. YOU CAN DO IT( in that crazy aerobic guys voice) LOL...

Another option is to just buy a set. I was going to say buy a set and then sell them, but you know you will want them when you get the red. You already have the bug and it will never go away... Then you can rent them to others who want that one night fix...

I ran a 1.608 with these tires so far with the same tire pressure setup on a good traction day. I am going out with slicks or bust on this setup because a 1.6 flat 60ft is still gonna cut it too close for such a long trip with the possibility of getting the boot on the first pass..
