Chris McCarty's Evo 11.1 Stock Block / STM tuned / AMS 35r

Just wanted to share this project with everyone.
Chris McCarty brought his car in to us at STM on a stock turbo making about 270 hp. Knowing our reputation with the stock-block Ricer, he decided to get what he safely can out of his own stock motor...
AEM EMS
1050cc INJECTORS
COMP 272
AMS GT35R TURBO KIT
AMS FRONT MOUNT KIT

30 PSI
STOCK BLOCK
STOCK INTAKE MANIFOLD
DC SPORTS CAT-BACK
BUSCHUR COIL-ON-PLUG
BUILT AND TUNED AT STM
I'm sure I'm missing some things, but you can see from the pictures what's generally in there.
On the dyno we tuned his car to 30 psi on C-16 and saw 440 HP and 366 TQ:
The very next night, we head out to the 1/4 mile track here outside of Rochester at NYIRP.
With the boost turned down to 27 psi, first pass was an 11.7, second pass we saw the 11.1 @ 126
Clutch was slipping, tires were spinning and that's enough to be kicked out on the first time at the track.

Nice job at the track. Hows the newfound power that you have? Is your 35r a hta series? Do you ever plan to stroke your motor and hows the lag with the bigger turbo?

Idk. I am either going to do a built 2.0 or a 2.3 max. Ill have to talk to the monster builders and see whats best. Ill prolly just go with a race 2.0. The lag is nice its like foreplay
