Its fun to drive for sure
You really don't have to rev the turbo that high to see the gains. The sweet spot on this turbo is 4500-7800. After that you really not gaining anything. Its good to have a higher redline like in my case so that you can stretch 4th gear out a bit.
If he had aftermarket cams I would not recommend anything past 8000, but he has stock cams so not sure if he can rev a little higher.

Just wanted to point out the fact that this car is not a drag car. It may not be the quickest or the fastest and its not supposed to be. but it will run this times all day long without the risk of breaking or without having to change tires or taking off interior parts. its heavy, but it is the way I drive it on the streets.
This is a new setup for me so I still need to get used to a couple of things. I will get a little more seat time soon and we will see the results.
