TTP Tuned FP Red at the Track

Went yesterday to the track to see what this thing can do the way I drive it on the street with everything inside.

Full Weight. Everything inside like the car spare tire, carpets, navi, laptop, GF make up bag, Books Etc etc....
245/45 17 BfGoodrich Supersport All season tires set at 26lbs all around.
Redline is set to just below 8k
Stock IX Transmission. I was hitting the rev limiter on 4th at around 122mph so I was not able to get any more trap speed out of the car. Notice on the videos hitting the rev limiter. Shifted to 5th on the 3rd run and the trap went down to 118mph because I cannot shift fast to 5th due to a bad synchro.

Very consistent numbers. Almost 2/10ths and 5mph faster compared to your old setup. Wonder what some slicks would do for ya...

Love the last video, "Looks like the evo will be shopping for some safety equipment..." LoL

work on that 1-2 shift. sounds like that was killing your chance at lower 11s or possible 10s. very consistent and the car moves down the track pretty good.

Good numbers. But, it doesn't reflect the 550whp that your sig states.

LOL you caught that Slicks will help a lot. 1.7-1.8 60ft wont cut it if I want to go quicker. Tires spin was a bit of an issue.

Do it. On the street this car is another animal.

Yes I was noticing the time it took me on the 1-2 shift. Need to work on it.

I am driving on a more conservative tune since this is my DD. 5lbs less than the 550 tune.

Scott will set me up with the remote map switch so I can go switch back and forth tunes.

get that 1-2 shift down and the 5th gear fixed you will def be low 11's maybe high 10. slicks will def get that thing in the 10's, nice runs though very consistent.

should have stayed in 4th bump up limiter.... very low mph for 550 , you could prob pull more if you stay in 4th ....
If you work on your 1/8 say down to 7.1 you will be able to make a 10 sec pass ... but it seems your not making enough power right now for a 10

I shifted to 5th on the 3rd run and noticed the MPH drop. All the other runs I stayed in 4th but was bouncing off the limiter a couple of times before crossing the line. You have the Shep trans and thats a day and night difference because of the gearing, specially the 4th gear. Stock IX 4th gear is only good for about 122mph at 8k rpm. I guess thats my next mod.

On the power side. Like I said earlier, I am driving my street tune which is 5 psi less than the 550Hp tune.

even with about 500hp you should be in the low 11's. The tires are definitely a problem. With a better set you should be able to cut some 1.6s. You also need to work on the 1st to 2nd shift. Raise your rev limiter to 8500.

You got PM

We'll get that rev limiter raised Felix. With Evo 8 gears the car would be 126+ without the limiter getting in the way.

Hmmm, in another thread you said the following:

386whp ran 11.01@126mph.
537whp ran 10.2@133mph.

Shouldnt this car be trapping like 135+ with that power and without the gears getting in the way?
