trap speeds with greddy 25g

Yes. Its the biggest one for that kit. says t67 right on the label. also has the bigger hotside. Nah not ball bearing. That is the only downfall but then again this turbo has worked out well for me so far and i don't foresee needing anything more aggressive for a while. This turbo seems to work really well with stock motor and pump gas which is what i will be always using.

Nah havn't done a data log lab graph with it. Will be racing either wednesday or friday so i will have results then as far as power goes. Ask any questions u want.... i will throw out some helpful info though...
Make sure that your oil feed line is big enough. i have the greddy part numbers in my e-mail because i bought mine used of somebody that had to small of a feed and the first turbo blew. i bought a brand new one off a person on ebay for 900$. Let me know if u need the numbers.
The oil return line has to be made. mine is out of AN lines and fittings but iv seen kits on ebay, not sure how well those work.
fitment is great. external wg is loud and works well. some say manifolds tend to crack. mine hasn't. and if it does you just have a brace welded to it. no big deal.
Ur gonna need an intake pipe. i run the hks hardpipe but would like something different. its ok for now but u will need something that is hard so u can put an adapter on it and clamp on it hard from ur intake pipe onto ur turbo. i use a 3" to 4" pvc rubber coupler i believe. the turbo is on the 4" side obviously.
now that you will have boost later in ur rpm range you can take out some fuel and add in some timing between 3000rpm and 4000rpm. pick up some power there. iv got 1000cc injectors and they are more than enough. only running at about 60-70% idc.
thats all i can think of right now..

the car will be tuned at DSG as they are local to me and I dont trust myself to do the tuning.
I will have the turbo setup on the car I'd say end of june/first week of july. I just got the kit in the mail today and I decided, seller agreed to fund, to have the turbo rebuilt at BLAAST (have done work for me before, top notch) because of oil blowing thru the compressor side seals and into the lower intercooler piping. Otherwise, I'm very eager to install.
I have a cbrd radiator, FMIC, and other stuff to be installed at the same time should be a fun day.
I plan on installing it, leaving stock tune/injectors in for the short drive to dsg, keeping off boost, then installing the 880's when I get there and letting them work their magic...
I'm not expecting big numbers until I get cams, with all the turbo lag there is and the stock rev limit being kept.
ANY news/updates on your setup? track tomorrow with it?

my b, i lost track of this thread.
i have my rev limit set to 8k. seems to be good with the cams and turbo's high powerband.
i did track the car. the only tuning that was done was to eliminate knock. the following day i did a boost leak test and found 3 major boost leaks at only 7psi. Even more at higher psi as well. i need to get everything sealed up and begin adding timing and subtracting fuel to get some power out of it. but for just dropping it into the car it ran ok. 120 traps realll soon. here's a vid 4 u. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dldk8Q5-gY
as i said the trap speed is way down due to being untuned and huge boost leaks but better times to come soon
