Serious piece you got Al i was wondering if you had been out racing since the rear diff went.

Indy showed me this a while back and wish i had a pure drag car to put it in but my evo is not even close enough to need one at this point in time.

Hope to see some more drag vids soon.....

Who said its not streetable ?

I am looking forward to doing some drifting and sliding in my next video!

In this case the install was about salvaging a rear diff that would otherwise have been total garbage.

I have a lot of other rear diffs that are complete as spares so IF i don't care for the spool I will go with on eof my other used diffs.

Hopefully, my thought is that traction off the line will be enhanced with this part.

We'll see

Al

Sure my friend.

The spool is to remove and replace the rear differential.

When it is installed in the car there is no differential both rear wheels turn in unision.

The advatntage for drag racing use is increased rear traction, reduction in some weight and stronger than the oem spider gears.

The disadvantage is that it is not suited to normal street driving as the rear wheels are locked.

Oh don't worry I am more than ready. Are you comming to Ohio to the DSM Shootout ? That is where I will be.

I am going to enter the street driving, tube nosed, plastic doored, lexan windowed Evo class. No, just kidding. But I will be there in Ohio as usuall. My pit crew Eddie and I have some business to take care of in some 30 days.
