11.4@116 FP Red IX

So i finally made it to cecil county this year with my new fp red turbo setup. Car was running on 93octane pump gas and makes about 427whp on 24pounds of boost. The tires are Falken all season tires that have maybe another month of life set at 20psi in all four corners. car went 11.4 @ 116 with me missing 5th gear at just as i hit the 1000ft mark. first time ever had to shift to 5th at drag stip.

Mods:
Fp Red turbo 63mm inlet Not 80
Buschur Stage 5
Cosworth M2 cams with buschur springs and retainers and Arp headstuds(only motor work on car)
Buschur Ported IM
Buschur 65mm TB
Buschur Ported and Jet Coated exhaust manifold
Buschur SS 02 housing
Exedy Twin Disc HD and SS clutchlines (only drivetrain Mods)
Stock ECU, Stock Block/head, Stock Evo 9 Trans, Crushed stock Bov
Al dynoflash tune to 427whp

Time slip breakdown.

60' ... 1.720
330 ... 4.787
1/8 ... 7.340
MPH ... 95.97
1000 ... 9.532
1/4 ... 11.409
MPH ... 116.09

Im hoping i can get a low 11 out of the car on pump gas and then itll be time for the race gas and 10 second pases. let me here some opinions as well as any suggestions for setup at the track.

The whole suspension is factory. Im thinkin about buying the Awd motorsports D2 coilovers in combination with the buschur side diff support and mustache bar...some day. But im all stock suspension as the car sits.

you should be running that mph with the stocker.

however your ET is good for that mph.

Get that 60ft down and you could get that 10sec pass on 93 oct.

Nice job.

Yea i thought my mph was low too. i thought id trap about 119 or 120 but i missed 5th and coasted all the way through the traps. I think that def killed my mph.

I would expect 120 out of your car with clean shifting.. I was trapping 96th in the 1/8th as well and hit 120 shifting to 5th with the six speed. Although I was on the stock turbo so you may pick up a few more mph then me.. I need to get out to cecil
BTW all season tires are the next best thing to drag radials..

Damn, that is NOT bad....if you up the boost a bit, i think you can get 10's no problem.

its the shift to 5th gear (or lack of) that caused the MPH to drop... its not reflecting your true mph potential. Obviously since you ran an 11.4 its got an easy 120+ in it. Just the stock gearing sucks... i go the same problem... just have to rev it out to 8500 from what i hear or get a taller final drive (ideal) to make the gears longer.
