I'm still lift shifting. Once Tom pointed out it was falling out of boost and I saw the log I started to lift less and it started to hold boost better. He then modified the map for between shift loads with timing and fuel to further help retain boost and as a result ET's improved. I don't slam into the next gear, I just flip the shifter into it.

Update as promised:

Went to the track today again. With the new tune the best I did was 13.0 @ 107 mph 1.7 60'. The rest were mostly 13.1=13.3 @ 105's 106's . So I am basically slower with my current 11's a/f ratio compared to my previous track day with a/f in the 9's running 12.7 @ 109 's . I came home and did a boost leak check and everything was fine.

Now if I need a driver mod, then shouldnt I be at very minimum same speed/time as before and not slower with this more optimum tune? I'm seriously confused now.

I really dont want to waste more money on this but I guess I have no choice now but to bust out the credit card again. I'm going to do the following:

1. Compression test (borrow friends tester)
2. Dyno my car at AMS

I think after I dyno, I will know for sure if its the car or me.

That was me that ran the 12.1 at 113mph. I was hoping to break into the 11s though

I was the quiet wingless blue evo ix. Unfortunately I didnt notice any Evo's other than the AMS car.

I was running a lot of low 13's testing out different rpms, and slow, fast, WOT shifting. I also missed 3rd gear a couple times when I was trying to shift so fast like it was dog gears.

My car was actually parked right next to the AMS trailer. I was helping my friend change the tires on his cobra then all of a sudden I see AMS pull up and park next to us.

Yea I saw you I just never got around to looking for you. I saw a lot of your passes and also got some on video. I saw the 13.5s and the best I saw was a 13.2 from you. I probably missed some of your other runs though.

I have the same mod list and I was trapping 111 with a 12.5. Double check your tune make sure it's not knocking.Make sure that your BOV is not leaking.

Yeah the 13.5's were when I was missing 3rd. I ran a lot today, I think I missed 3rd twice or 3 times testing different shift methods.

But best was 13.0 @ 107 only once. After that it never trapped that high, mostly 105-106 traps @ 13.1 13.2 13.3 etc.. even with WOT shifting. Then 60' started getting worse to 1.8's.

BOV is not leaking. Just did a boost leak check today when I got home.

I cant check the tune. I dont have a tactrix cable and dont know too much about the tuning software.

I'm just going to do a compression check and dyno the car.

2 step was at 5750. Tire pressure was like always 34 front 32 rear.

I didnt want to change the tire pressure because since I started this thread I wanted to keep that consistant to see what the changes made to the tune will do.

No problem, feed back good or bad is welcome. I'll keep working on it. A lot of the late runs I had to do the 2-3 shift a little slower because I was having a little trouble. Then came in the fatigue and stress so I started getting sloppy on the launches netting me 1.8's. Best runs were during the morning when they first opened the stage at 10. I got there real early!

If I remember correctly did about 8-10 passes today.
