looking at Mike@AWDmotorports D2 coilovers and custom springs...can't ignore how smooth his car leaves. When I launch the front starts spinning, the rear squats, likely hits the bump stops and unloads the rear tires as well, makes for some terrible porpoising and loss of traction.

you know I haven't even considered the weight difference, is it significant? Up to this point I haven't made an effort to shave weight but I'm think I might at least do the aluminum drive shaft and other light weight aluminum buschur bits that caught my eye a while back. Thus far I've only been focused on power power power and it's hight time to think more about the bigger picture.

I measured a 26lb difference between the stock suspension and the D2 coilovers.

e85

last year I ran 10.41 @ 135 on 93 octane with the HTA3582 .63 no lifting to shift and good traction

this run was a 10.44 @ 139 on e85 with the HTA3586 .82 Lifting to shift and major traction problems.

thanks and it's some generic black lowering springs with no markings on them
