It's real difficult to hear the shifts when you're there. If you're at the starting line, it's impossible to hear! Stock exhaust lets you do road tuning without attracting attention.

Hey nikkadanny, how have you been? I'm still learning. When I get my degree, I'll call on you to be my next guinnea pig.

Did you guys find you had the same results stock as you did with the MR suspension, swift springs, and CE28's? I would think those would've yielded a little better results. Curious to see what differences you noticed when you put the stock wheels back on. There is always so much talk about rotating mass?? Either way, congrats.

All data concerning every change has been posted numerous times. We have run the same components now for probably 30+ passes with only the tires being changed along with the tune. NOW, those are the differences that are noted. Going back in time to the beginning is not how you move forward. I've been building and racing for 40 years and Indy for about 30 years. Through those years understanding rotating mass was learned in our primers. That's understood, but maybe you could do some R&D on it's benefits and create your own thread as to the pro's and con's of it. I for one would be interested in what you post and how you measure and approach the subject. Don't forget that softer compound tires may and will have an affect on resistence vs a harder compound, so those losses might need to be taken into account too, since the ENTIRE RUN needs to be evaluated.
