Awesome dude that things a beast. I have a question tho, I was trying to watch your clutch foot in the vid, do you think you slipped the clutch too much on your launch?
Im asking because Im trying to get an idea how quickly to slip it out on a 2step launch. Ive yet to make a launch in my car off the 2-step (im on stock clutch and tranny right now on a 6000rpm 2step limit) and the reason I havent 2-stepped it is because Im afraid Im either going to cook my clutch or drop it too quick and blow something...Im leaning more toward me slipping too much because thats what I tend to do. My best time was launching at 5000rpm I got a 1.82 60ft (at island ), which I was extremely happy with because prior to that Id been launching at around 4000rpm or less and was stuck with 2.0 60ft's.
So do you think you would have gained a better 60 foot if youd brought the clutch out just a slight bit quicker? I dont want you to think Im criticizing your driving in any way Im just trying to figure out whats goin on so I can finally get the ***** to try it myself lol.

LAtely i think i managed to launch the car with a controlled slip on the QM clutch. How quick i cannot describe really, i go with how it feels... As soon as i feel that the car starts moving i realease it really fast...
I would never sidestep the EVO clutch...
Your 2tep might be too low. I remember when i had the stock clutch on the stock turbo, i had a 5800 rpm 2step and with a quick release i was managing low 1.70s all the time until the stock clutch started to slip... That was on the stock tires...

Ok cool, yea Id never sidestep it either.
My 2 step limiter is set to 6000 rpm! too low?? Technically I know Im not launching properly because I am not 2stepping it on my launches, but I havent ever launched off the 2step yet. All Im doing on my launches is is revving it up, holding it at whatever RPM I rev too (in that case it was 5000, which was about 3/4 throttle) and off I go. For launching 1000rpm below my 2step I think a 1.8 60ft is pretty sweet.
